Technique - This is a very universal bait that can be retrieved as slow or as fast as the season dictates. You can fish the Chad Shad Finesse style, on a Dropshot to peg it to the best part of the water column or to prevent getting hung up, as a Topwater with a fast retrieve, or work it slow with erratic jerking action to mimic a dying bait fish.
Water Column - Less than 5' of water is optimal. However, you can use it deeper, just allocate additional weight and time for sinking (Finesse style)
